Industrial Visit-2026

The Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering, Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM), proudly organized an enriching industrial visit to Vikram Solar Limited, Falta SEZ on 27th March, 2026.

An industrial visit is an integral part of the academic curriculum, aimed at providing students with practical exposure to real-world engineering applications. The visit helps to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices.

30 ECE 3rd year students had the unique opportunity to explore the core electronics engineering behind solar photovoltaic (PV) technology — from semiconductor-grade silicon processing to advanced solar cell fabrication and module integration.

Students witnessed:

  1. Advanced PV module manufacturing and testing processes
  2. Real-time monitoring and control systems used in solar plants
  3. Industry practices aligned with sustainable and green technology

Interaction with industry experts provided valuable insights into career pathways in solar technology and next-generation clean energy innovations. The visit highlighted how fundamental ECE concepts like semiconductor physics, power electronics, embedded systems, and signal monitoring play a crucial role in renewable energy solutions.
