Expert talk
The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering of Future Institute of Engineering and Management has proudly hosted an engaging Expert Talk titled "Codes and Capitals: ECE Perspectives in Banking and Data Analytics" by their Alumni today at SG Hall, FIEM. Esteemed alumni Mr. Kirit Suvra Majumder (Project Manager, Bandhan Bank) and Ms. Madhumita Pradhan (Data Engineer , IBM) shared their professional journeys and insights into the evolving intersections of ECE, banking and data analytics. This inspiring session was adorned with all B.Tech students where they have got a golden opportunity to learn, connect and become future-ready!

April 2024
Here we have the Summer Edition of departmental (ECE) wall magazine "PAPYRUS". This edition gives an insight onto our Mother Earth and Awareness to save its resources.'PAPYRUS'- 2024 Summer Edition was published on the occasion to celebrate World Creativity and Innovation day(21st April) and Earth day (22nd April) in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council-FIEM.
This magazine is a platform that exhibits the artistic skills and innovative ideas of teachers and students.
Our respected Vice Principal Sir and Registrar Sir published this wall magazine on 24th April 2024. The department is highly grateful to our management, IIC and thankful to the faculty members of Editorial Board, students members of decoration team for their hard work and efforts that have made this wall magazine publication- a successful event.
INCEPTION
Annual Technical Event held on 21st March 2025
Description of Event: “INCEPTION” is an annual technical event has been organizing by the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering since 2013. INCEPTION’25 is the 9th year of this event was held on 21stMarch 2025. This program is the combination of both technical and non-technical events which is featured four exciting competitions (i) INVITARE (Technical Project competition), (ii) TECHMANIA (Technical Quiz competition), (iii) CLICKATHON (Photography Competition) and (iv) Poster Presentation.
(i) INVITARE ’25 is an innovative project development competition where students can share innovative ideas and make their prototypes to compete each other. Total 145 no of students divided into 39 groups participated in this project competition sharing ideas in the domain of hardware (ARDUINO-UNO), Robotics, Image Processing, GSM, RFID, ZigBee, Remote sensing, software, IoT, Machine Learning etc.
(ii)CLICKATHON’25 is a Photography Competition. The theme of this year CLICKATHON was “CITY STREET AND URBAN RHYTHM”. Total 32 photographs were displayed and were judged by External media person.
(iii)TECHMANIA’25the technical Quiz Competition is a thrilling test of knowledge, speed, and analytical thinking. It challenges participants on core technical concepts, general knowledge, and problem-solving skills across various domains of engineering and technology through audio Visual games, puzzles, riddles etc.
2023
Since 2016 to the date, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been organizing its annual technical event ‘INCEPTION’, which is a combination of Inter Departmental Technical Project Competition ‘INVITARE’, poster competition ‘GALLERIA’, photography competition ‘CLICKATHON’, coding competition ‘CODIFICACIO’ , technical quiz competition ‘TECHMANIA’ and Research Article Competition ‘COGNITIONIS’ and many more.

Electronics and Communication Engineering department has organized many Webinars during recent pandemic. “Life Beyond Engineering” in 2021, “Data Analytics and BI” in 2020, “Beyond the Horizon” in 2020.

Cultural Programs
Our departmental students organized cultural programs like fresher’s welcome NAVATO FIESTA, Teacher’s day celebration program RUTHVIJ, they bid goodbye to their seniors by a farewell program ORSUS. ECE department reunite their students and try to make a bridge with presents and alumni students by reunion program REMEMBRALL
Inter college workshops for UG students
ECE department is successfully continuing a students’ chapter in collaboration with Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) since 2014 and has organized many inter college workshops for UG students.
NSS
Our department creates NSS awareness program among students as it is another dimension of education. It motivates our students to actively participate for the sake of our society and nation, helping them to develop their societal responsibility.
