The definitions and policies of Internal Complaint Committee are as mentioned below:
Sexual Harassment:
Any unwelcome sexually motivated behavior, whether directly or by implication involving physical contacts or advances, demand for sexual favors, sexually-tainted remarks, and other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal expressions of a sexual nature which affects women's right to work in a congenial environment at the workplace.
Scope:
The provision of these rules and procedures shall apply to all students and academic and non-academic staff of FIEM. These rules and regulations shall be applicable to all complaints of sexual harassment made by:

A student against member/members of academic or non-academic staff or co-students or a member of the academic or non-academic community against a student/ students or another member of the academic or nonacademic community within and outside the campus.

A service provider against a student/students or a member/ members of the academic or non-academic staff or a student or a member of academic or non- academic staff against an outsider or service provider, if the alleged sexual harassment is reported to have taken place within the campus.
Filing of Complaints:
-
Complaints of sexual harassment shall be lodged with the Committee. Such complaints should be taken up by the Committee for resolution as promptly as possible, but by not later than two days after the complaint on the alleged incident is received
-
The complaints should be made in writing. If the complainant is not able to give in writing himself/herself, the complaint can be given in writing or his/her behalf by his/her companion.

Normally, a complaint should be lodged within a week after the incident. In special circumstances, the time limit for the submission of complaints may be extended to a month. The special circumstances that led to the granting of such extension should be recorded by the committee.

The complainant is at liberty to withdraw the complaint at any stage of enquiry, provided such withdrawal is made independently and under free will. The enquiry may be terminated on receipt of the request for such withdrawal.

The Committee is empowered to terminate the enquiry proceeding and to give ex-parte decision on the complaint, on valid grounds.

The enquiry committee shall complete the enquiry in the shortest possible time, not exceeding a month from the date on which the complaint is referred to it, except for special reasons.

It shall submit a detailed report to the institute authority communicating its findings based on its investigations. The committee in cases in which the accused is/are found guilty, should indicate the gravity of the offence, whether it is major, serious or minor.
Redressive Disciplinary Action:
Committee would pass on the findings of the enquiry committee to the institute authority for taking appropriate redressive action. If the authority finds that there is requirement for further investigation and, he may order for a review of the Report by the enquiry committee and may even refer the case to competent legal authority, if it is of a grave nature.False/Baseless Complaint:
If the enquiry committee finds no merit in a complaint, the Chairperson of Committee may issue a show-cause notice to the complainant requiring him/her to explain within three days as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against him/her. In the event of a negative insufficient or unconvincing explanation, Committee shall pass on the papers to the authority for imposing appropriate penalty in order to exclude the possibility of recurrence of such motivated complaints. In complaints involving faculty and students, the faculty shall not teach or supervise the work of the student concerned during the period of enquiry and till the decision on the case. Members of the academic and /or non-academic staff involved in such complaints either as the victim or as the accused shall not write the confidential reports of the complainant or the victim during the enquiry and decision of the case.Committee Of SC/ST Cell

The committee ensures the effective implementation of the policies and programmes of the Government of India, UGC, AICTE and State Governments with regard to SC/ST.
It also suggests measures for achieving the objectives laid down by the various government agencies. The committee meets at least two times in a year and the decisions arrived at is mandatory to be implemented.
Its function is also to help the SC/ST categories to integrate with the mainstream of the institute community and to remove difficulties, which they may be experiencing.
Registering the complaints in writing form, if any and address it for its peaceful resolution.

Establishment of Anti Ragging Committee
As notified separately, the Honorable Supreme Court has directed that the prevention of ragging in the institutions is the collective responsibility of the institute and that the police shall sumo-moto take cognizance of incidents of ragging in case it is found that the Institute has not discharged its responsibility of preventing the ragging of students. Any student found indulging / indulged in the act of ragging may be expelled and his/her admission to the Institute may be refused /cancelled.
In pursuance of the above order, an ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE comprising the following personnel has been constituted in the institute. This committee will be valid till formation of new committee.

Objectives of the Cell:
- This cell will look after the related matters (if any) of depriving a student / staff or group of students on the basis of caste, creed, language, ethnicity, gender, different ability.
- This cell always try to uphold the dignity of the institution by addressing the concerns (if any) brought in to the notice related to equality in offering or receiving education inside the campus.
- This cell ensures conducive environment for academic growth of the people belonging to the institution.
- This cell protects the rights of individuals without any prejudice to their appearance or lifestyle in the process of learning inside the campus.
- The Cell shall eliminate discrimination against or harassment of any individual in all forms by prohibiting it and by providing preventive and protective measures to facilitate its eradication and punishments for those who indulge in any form of discrimination or harassment.
- This cell is committed to uphold the spirit of inclusive education.
Research & Development Cell
RDC which aims to nurture research culture in the College by promoting research in newly emerging and challenging frontier areas of Engineering, Technology, Management, Science and Humanities. It encourages the students and faculty to undertake the research in newly emerging frontier areas including multidisciplinary fields. This enhances the general research capability of budding technocrats by way of participating in conferences, seminars, workshops, project competition, etc.

Industry Institute Cell
The Industry Institute Cell was organized in the year 2021, as continuous interaction between academia and industry which is the need of the hour. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute. It provides a platform for both the students as well as faculty members to be aware of industry expectations of skill sets required for students. This will enhance the Teaching Learning Process and enable the Institution to produce quality students. Such interactions can thus be of mutual benefit to the institution as well as the industry.
It provides hands on training to students with mapping of curriculum, promote & educate the faculty about the current trends in the industry and also make our students employment ready by enhancing their skills in par with industry requirement.
Our goal was in organizing workshops, conferences and symposia with joint participation of the institution and the industry. Also to arrange for experts from industry to visit and deliver lectures for students on the current trends & happenings in a particular sector. We are on process of signing MOUs with industries for mutual benefit of industry & institution.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The above squad is responsible to oversee the anti-ragging measures being adopted in the Campus
-To educate the senior students of the Campus and to monitor the activities of the potential trouble makers
- To raids in the sensitive areas like canteen common rooms, hostels at a regular interval or as and when required.
