Welcome to the Department of CSE(Data Science) at Future Institute of Engineering and Management. The Department presently offers a Four Year B.Tech. degree programme in Computer Science and Engineering with specializations in Data Science with its inception from 2020-21.The department has a team of highly experienced and motivated faculty members who are in process of holistic development of the young minds to make them globally competitive.
With 2.5 quintillion bytes of digital data generated every day, the data science field promises immense growth. As a result of this ever more increasing data, every sector in the society is contemplating on data-driven decision making. The programme integrates Data Science to Core Computer Science. It aims to develop students to excel in industry and R&D activities by inducing them to employ mathematical models with indispensable engineering and scientific principles to unravel solutions for life problems in data science. The students get exposure to intuitively analyse data and are equipped with marketable skills built on solid foundation of Data Science, the process of ethically acquiring, engineering, analyzing, visualizing and ultimately monetizing data. The course promotes innovation with the endowment of the basic tools and techniques of data handling, exploratory data analysis, data visualization and data-based inference.
Students are motivated to explore the cutting-edge applications related to Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Big Data Analytics, Python programming etc. Through innovative teaching-learning process and a teamwork approach with leadership building experience, our students gain vital communication and critical-thinking skills. Our institution provides a platform for the students to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship skills through Industry- Institute collaboration for Pre-Placement grooming.
